About us
g8tes is the trading name of Gates Retail Solutions FZE LLC, based in the Ajman NuVentures Centre Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. We fix the work that happens around your ERP: the approvals, launches, promotions and follow-ups that still live in spreadsheets and email.
Who we are
Our background is UAE retail and FMCG: buying, private label, promotions and supplier management. We know where a price change stalls, why a launch slips and which spreadsheet only one person understands, because we've been the people chasing them.
That commercial judgement comes first. The technology follows it. We've chased enough spreadsheets for one lifetime, so you don't have to.
What we do
We build four tools, flow, promo, launch and studioCRM, inside the Microsoft 365 you already pay for, and we run studio, a creative service for brands whose presentation no longer matches the business.
Each tool fixes one thing. We tailor it to how your team works, train your people, and hand it over documented. You tailor the workflow; the product underneath stays the same, tested and supported, unless you buy it outright. Your data and configuration are always yours.
How we build
We work with global, on-demand technology teams to build custom solutions. Each project gets the skills it needs, when it needs them, without you carrying a permanent development team.
Every solution is built within our whitespace overlay framework. It sits over the white space between your systems, where work falls between the ERP, email and spreadsheets, and organises that work without replacing the systems you run.
We research how best to simplify each user experience before we build it: fewer steps, clearer screens, and the same tool on a laptop and a phone. The aim is efficiency your team feels on day one.
Information is entered once and used everywhere it's needed. We design out double capturing: no re-typing between a spreadsheet, an email and your ERP.
Process and standards
We don't just build a software layer. Before we build, we walk through your processes with the people who run them and write them down in a process register and a RACI matrix: every step, who is responsible, who approves, who is consulted and who is told, and the evidence an approver needs. Gaps and duplicate steps are fixed on paper first. Then we build the layer that runs the process your team signed off.
Each tool is designed to support the controls of ISO-aligned policies, including product development, quality assurance and information security, and the UAE regulations that apply to your business. Who asked, who approved, what changed and when is recorded, ready for an internal or external audit.
Aligned, not certified. We don't claim certifications we don't hold. g8tes is not ISO certified, and no tool can make a business compliant on its own. We design so your own certification and audits are easier to pass.
