B1. What this notice covers
This notice explains how g8tes handles personal data when you use this website or contact us.
Gates Retail Solutions FZE LLC is the controller of that data. Contact: solve@g8tes.ae
This notice describes what this site actually does. If anything here does not match the site's behaviour, tell us at solve@g8tes.ae and we will correct it.
B2. What we collect, and only this
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, your business email address, your mobile number if you give it, which tool you are asking about, what you wrote, and the campaign label of the link you followed, if it had one | Only when you submit the contact form or email us | To read your enquiry and reply to it |
| Technical data your browser sends — including your IP address, browser type and the page requested | Automatically, as part of serving the page | To serve the site and keep it secure |
We do not ask for, and do not want: identity document numbers, payment card details, bank account details, health information, or any special category of personal data. Please do not send them. If you do, we will delete them and tell you we have.
We do not buy personal data. We do not sell, rent or share yours for anyone else's marketing.
B3. Cookies and third-party content
This site sets no cookies beyond those strictly necessary to serve the page, runs no analytics, and does not track you. We do not use advertising or profiling technology, and we do not load content from third-party services that would identify you to them.
Because of that, this site shows no cookie consent banner. It does not need one. You are welcome to verify this: open the site with your browser's developer tools and look at what it requests.
If you reach us through one of our campaign links, the campaign label in that link (its utm_source and utm_campaign) is sent with your enquiry, so we know which campaign reached you. It is read from the web address only. Nothing is stored in your browser and no third party receives it.
If this changes, this notice is updated on the same day the site changes.
B4. What we do with your enquiry — and what we will not do
When you submit the form your enquiry reaches our own business systems and we reply to you. That is all that happens to it.
Submitting the form is consent for us to reply to that enquiry. It is not consent to anything else. We will not add you to a mailing list, send you marketing, or contact you about anything unrelated unless you separately and explicitly opt in and we record that you did.
If you do opt in, every message carries a way to stop, and stopping takes effect without our asking why.
Where we telephone or message a business contact, we do so within UAE telemarketing rules, between 09:00 and 18:00 Dubai time, from a company-registered line, and we respect the Do Not Call Registry. We stop the first time you ask.
B5. Who else sees it
| Who | Why |
|---|---|
| Microsoft | Our email and business systems run on Microsoft 365, so an enquiry you send is stored and processed there |
| Our website hosting provider | They serve the pages you request and keep technical access logs |
| Our professional advisers | Only where necessary, and under a duty of confidence |
| A regulator, court or authority | Only where we are legally required to disclose |
We do not add a recipient without updating this notice.
B6. How long we keep it
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| An enquiry that does not lead to a client relationship | 24 months, then deleted |
| Records relating to a client engagement | For as long as the engagement requires, and then for the period our legal, tax and accounting obligations require |
| Website technical logs | 12 months |
We state a period rather than "as long as necessary", because a period is something you can hold us to.
B7. Your rights
You have rights over your personal data under UAE personal data protection law, including to ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, object to how we use it, withdraw a consent you have given, and receive a copy of it.
Write to solve@g8tes.ae. We will acknowledge within 5 working days and respond substantively within 30 days. We will not charge you for asking, and we will not ask why.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, tell us and we will escalate it internally. You may also raise the matter with the competent UAE authority.
B8. Security
This site is served over HTTPS. The website itself stores no personal data — an enquiry is passed to our business systems and is not retained on the site.
Enquiries are held in Microsoft 365 under access controls, and access is limited to those who need it to reply to you.
We do not claim that any system is immune from compromise, because no honest provider can. If a breach affects your data we will tell you, and we will tell you what we know rather than waiting until we know everything.
B9. Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data about children.
B10. Client data inside our tools
This is separate from the website, and it matters more. It applies when we supply you a tool.
Your data stays in your own Microsoft 365. Our tools work on it there. g8tes holds no copy of it, and no g8tes person has standing access to it. Any access for support is requested by us, approved by you, limited in time, and recorded in your own audit trail.
What this does not say, and will not be made to say: that our products avoid using your data. They use it, because that is what they are for. The promise is custody and least privilege, not abstinence.
We will not tell you we have a "zero footprint", that "no data leaves your environment", that "we never see your data", or that our tools need "no IT review". Each of those is either untrue or unverifiable, and your IT team would establish that faster than we could explain it.
B11. Changes to this notice
The date at the top of this page tells you which version you are reading. When the site changes, this notice is checked on the same day.
